Loving you felt like shoes on the wrong feet,

Every step is unsteady, an incomplete beat.

I could still move, but something felt wrong,

A rhythm off-key in a broken song.

Loving you felt like the wrong side of the bed,

Each morning heavy, a fog in my head.

The sun would rise, but I couldn’t see,

The weight of frustration consuming me.

Loving you felt like living alone,

Sharing space, yet my heart turned to stone.

Hours of silence, a ghost by my side,

Your presence forgotten; my loneliness amplified.

Loving you felt like pouring too deep,

Draining my soul, no strength left to keep.

I gave you my all, down to the last drop,

Yet the cup stayed empty, and I couldn’t stop.

Loving you felt like gasping for air

Anxiety gripping, a breathless despair.

My lungs collapsed under love’s cruel sting,

An endless fall without a wing.

Loving you felt like signing my death,

I’d give my last heartbeat, my final breath.

Like Juliet longing for Romeo’s embrace,

I would have died to be loved in your space

  • Blooming Through the Void

Beneath every bloom is a history the surface cannot show. Pairing David White’s Lotus with Kiana Jimenez’s LOTUS, Blooming Through the Void explores heartbreak, emotional masking, unanswered love, despair, and the stubborn survival hidden beneath beauty—where damaged leaves remain green and unseen roots keep reaching upward.

  • The Road Out of Myself

How much of yourself can you surrender before love becomes disappearance? David White’s Cruising and Kiana Jimenez’s LOVING YOU, LOSING ME collide in an Emotive Fusion pairing about emotional depletion, suffocation, sacrifice, and the difficult freedom of taking back the handlebars after loving someone nearly costs you yourself entirely.
